Who do we recommend the Tannhauser Gate TTRPG for?

Space opera fans, obviously, the ones who grew up on sweeping starship battles, dazzling alien worlds, and heroes against the odds. This game takes those cinematic memories we’ve been carrying with us since the movie screen lit them into our imagination, and breathes new life into them at the table. Remember those movie nights where the galaxy hung in the balance and you thought, “I wish I was in there”? Well… now you are.

Roleplayers, because the system is quick and easy, giving you more time for building up a greater immersion and deeper dialogues. And because the system does not derive combat statistics from your characters’ core attributes, but keeping them separated. This way you always can create the heroes who you imagined without worrying about failing to balance the „optimal” stats.

Masters tacticians, because in Tannhauser Gate TTRPG, careful maneuvering and smart positioning can turn the tide of any action scene, much like clever tactics do in strategy games. And with combat stats detached from core attributes, any character has the potential to be a key player on the battlefield.

Newcomers to TTRPGs, because it’s easy to get started. Character creation is quick and simple if you use pre-made backgrounds, species and robot types.
